Our Annual Holiday Toy Drive brings holiday cheer to the patients and families of area hospitals, including the University of Maryland Children’s Hospital and Johns Hopkins Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Clinics, as well as the Ronald McDonald House of Baltimore, CASA organizations and families in need throughout Maryland .

 

Kamryn’s family knew firsthand the financial burden a sick child can have on a family. To ease some of the holiday stress on these families, we would like to fulfill the wishes of these children by providing them and their family members with gifts. This was the first project in Kamryn’s honor and we would like to continue the success by helping more families every year.

 

In 2017, we raised over $100,000 in gifts and monetary donations to help over 1000 children and families, not sure during the holidays, but throughout 2018. Together, we would like to do even more this year. There are several ways to get involved. We are looking for monetary sponsorship and any amount, no matter the size, will help us reach our goal. We are also looking for area businesses willing to ‘host a box’. It’s easy and a fun way for your employees, customers and the community to work together. We will drop off a decorated collection box to your business, along with the ‘Wish List’. We will advertise it as a drop off location through our website and social media. You fill and we pick up at the end of your drive. If you cannot accommodate a box, perhaps you would like to host a stocking to collect gift cards.

 

As we reflect on the many things we have to be grateful for this holiday season, we are sure one of the most important is being blessed with healthy children and grandchildren.
